Arielle Braun, M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD is a New York State licensed and nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Social Cognitive Therapist. In addition to starting her own practice, she works in a therapeutic special education school in the Bronx for students with various behavioral and psychological diagnoses.
Arielle received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, as well as a Minor in Special Education from Yeshiva University Stern College for Women. She received her Master Degree of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Touro College. Arielle maintains a Certification of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She also holds certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities.
Diagnoses that Arielle has worked with include but are not limited to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Emotional Disturbances, Oppositional-Defiant Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified, and Selective Mutism.
Arielle's therapeutic approach consists of creating a safe and motivating environment for her clients to grow to become the best versions of themselves. She believes in a team approach to therapy and therefore encourages collaboration with parents, teachers and other therapists, when applicable, to provide the most encouraging and successful environment for her clients, as well as to support interventions in all contexts and allow for generalization of skills. Arielle believes in assessing and treating the whole individual and providing unique, functional, and individualized goals.
